ปกติใช้ Windows XP คู่กับ Ubuntu 8.04.1 แต่ทนไม่ไหวที่ XP มีปัญหาบ่อยๆ Install มานานแล้ว ลงโปรแกรมซ้ำไปซ้ำมามันก็เลยอาจจะมี hang ได้ง่าย จัดการ format มันซะเลย
ไหนๆ ก็ format แล้ว ลองใช้ Vista ดูดีกว่า มี license อยู่ (OEM) เอามันซะเลย พอลง OS+Update Patched+Driver ครบแล้ว ลองวัด performance ดู ทำได้แค่ 3.1 แต้มเอง Notebook ก็งี้แหละการ์ดจอไม่แรงพอ
ที่นี้จะ restore Ubuntu Grub Menu ให้ตอนเปิดเครื่องมัน Show Menu ให้เลือก Ubuntu และ Vista ก็
ง่ายๆ เลย run คำสั่งนี้
Why dont you try this method :
1)Load up Live Session from Live CD (Ubuntu Live CD ถ้าใช้ version เดียวกับที่ลงไว้ก็จะดี)
2)Open a terminal
3)Type these commands :
sudo grub
find /boot/grub/stage1
root (hd0,x)
setup (hd0)
quit
4)Reboot.
Replace the (0,x) with what it returned to u when u did find /boot/grub/stage1 (เครื่องผม x=3 เมื่อ run command ก็จะเป็น: root (hd0,3) )

ทีนี้ก็ลอง Restart เครื่องดู Menu Ubuntu ก็กลับมาแล้ว.
